On May 12 and 13, 2023, Prada presents the ninth iteration of Prada Mode in Tokyo, in association with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Teien Art Museum, one of Japan’s most important cultural properties.

This unique architectural and cultural journey is hosted and curated by Kazuyo Sejima, the director of Teien Art Museum, architect, and a long-term collaborator of Prada.

For Prada Mode, the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum will be transformed into a space where the guests can explore art in different forms and experience the historic architecture, the museum and the site-specific art works, curated by Kazuyo Sejima, located in the large gardens surrounding the museum. The main temporary pavilion, a wooden curved surface to host conversations, will be placed in the European garden; while various areas will be created spreading along the space for the guests to enjoy the venue as a whole.
